Meadow Mania

On Saturday the Houston Arboretum had 21 volunteers come out to help us plant 470 new prairie grasses and forbs in the meadow. The rain did not dampen our spirits and we had everything planted by 11:00. Species represented were Indian grass, Big bluestem, Canadian wild rye, Switch grass, Bushmint, Partridge pea and Chili pequin. Check out the photos in the album in Multimedia. Thanks to all those who came out to help.
