With the help of four volunteers and our summer intern we were able to plant 18 Bushmint and 57 Big Blue Stem at our first Meadow Morning at the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center. This summer the Basketflower and Eastern Gama grass have put on a show for us and the Switch grass is getting ready to do the same. Partridge Pea has been abundant and Rattlesnake Master and Liatris are coming up everywhere. Blue Waterleaf is starting to bloom and Orange Milkweed has been spotted. We have been seeing a large variety of Dragonflies in substantial numbers. Hope you can come visit or join us for our next Meadow Morning on July 16!
